Frequently Asked Questions
Does Klap integrate with Make (Integromat)?
Yes. Klap's Make app has 13 modules: Watch ready projects and Watch failed projects; Create clips, Export a clip, Schedule a clip, Write a caption, Get a project and Get an export; List clips, List projects and List social accounts; and Make an API call. It is in Make's app review and is listed in Make's integrations directory once approved.
How do I connect Klap to Make?
Add any Klap module, click Create a connection, sign in to Klap and click Allow. Make stores the connection; there is no API key to copy.
Can I upload a video file instead of a link?
Yes. Create clips takes either a video link or a file name and data from a previous module, such as Google Drive or Dropbox. The largest file you can pass depends on your Make plan.
How do I get the clips once they're ready?
Clipping takes several minutes, so use Watch ready projects in a second scenario, then List clips to get each clip, best first. Get a project also tells you whether a project is still processing.
Can Make download the MP4 of a clip?
Yes. Export a clip renders the clip and returns its public MP4 link; turn on the file output to pass the MP4 itself to Google Drive, Dropbox or any module that takes a file.
How much does the Make integration cost?
Connecting is free. What you do through the integration uses your Klap plan, exactly as on klap.app: clipping uses your video allowance, exports your export allowance, and scheduling needs a plan that includes it. You can start with Klap's free trial. Scenario runs also count toward your Make plan's usage.
